CAFÉ 1820 CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of flour
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • ½ cup of chopped nuts
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of cold coffee

Preparation

Cream the butter in a large bowl, adding the sugar little by little. Separate the egg whitesfrom the yolks and add the yolks to the butter and sugar. Then add the flour, bakingpowder, coffee and nuts and mix well. Finally, beat the egg whites until they form stiffpeaks and fold into the mixture. Preheat the baking pan for 15 minutes and bake the cakeat 180° C.
