Cajeta of Café 1820

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Café 1820
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • ½ bar of margarine NUMAR
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups powdered milk
  • Chopped walnuts, required amount
  • Unsalted peanuts, required amount

Preparation

1.

In a cooking pot, put the cup of Café 1820 with the cups of sugar and let it reach a temperature of 225F.

2.

Remove from the heat and add the NUMAR margarine and mix very well.

3.

Immediately afterwards add the powdered milk and mix very well.

4.

Return to heat and stir until thick, add walnuts or peanuts and pour into a greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish.

5.

Let cool and cut into squares.
