Tiramisu 1820
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 ¼ cup refined sugar
- 1 ¼ cup Mascarpone or 220 grams of cream cheese, ¼ cup of custard and 2 tbsp of sweet cream (Cream it in the blender, this is a substitute for mascarpone)
- 1 ¾ cup whipped whipped cream and ½ cup more for garnish.
- 2 boxes of lady fingers
- 1 1/3 cup of Café 1820 mixed with a tablespoon of Liquor or Rum or Brandy.
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Cocoa powder for garnish
- Chocolate colochos to decorate
Preparation
1.
Mix the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until it turns lemon yellow.
2.
Put the bowl over a pot of boiling water.
3.
Reduce heat to low and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
4.
Take it off the heat and let it cool.
5.
Add the mascarpone cheese or substitute and beat very well.
6.
Pour the whipped chantilly cream into the egg mixture with enveloping movements.
7.
Line a square baking dish with the lady’s fingers on the sides and bottom.
8.
With a brush, paint the ladies’ fingers with the Café 1820 or dip them in the Café 1820 quickly.
9.
Pour in half of the cheese mixture, and place the lady fingers again. Moisten them with Café 1820.
10.
Decorate with the chantilly cream, cocoa and chocolate colochos.
11.
Cover the ovenproof dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for many hours or overnight.
12.
With this, you can make 10 to 12 servings.
